Hello Friends,
We all need support and assistance every now and then.
We are raising funds for our beloved father, grandfather, uncle and friend.
Our dad, who we have chosen to keep identity private has been so instrumental in bringing up all his eight (8) children! He employed many during his years of active entrepreneurship, helped support so many families through difficult times and has been extremely instrumental in supporting his home town state in Osun State of Nigeria.
Our beloved father has now crossed the 75 year-old-mark and we, the kids, are running this private campaign to help raise funds for aortic valve replacement surgery.
After having spent about GBP20,000 on investigations and medical examinations in the UK to confirm and ascertain a diagnosis and recommended course of treatment, the preference is to have the surgery carried out in the UK, which will cost us around GBP50,000.
However, time is of the essence as his condition does appear to be deteriorating and should we not be bale to raise the funds required for the surgery to be performed in the UK in good time, the alternative would be to have the surgery carried out at First Cardiology Hospital in Lagos, Nigeria. The estimated cost of the surgery in Nigeria is NGN10,000,000 (GBP13,000).
We therefore ask you to join us in raising funds in support of the required surgery to help restore our father to full strength and activity.
