Providing for the Needy and Healing the Sick

We all need help from time to time.
I see quite a large number of hungry and sick people in my city which has led me to my campaign. I’ve been a sick person from childhood which really disturbed my education and performance. In Nigeria, the needy and the sick are not given the proper attention and it’s so terrible to neglect them. The hospitals and the medical society are not doing their job. Each time I go for follow up in the hospital I see many patients begging for alms to see the doctor and buy their meds. It breaks my heart when I see hungry and sick people. I’ve been looking for a way to be of help to the less fortunate in the society. Not all the people claiming charity in Nigeria are doing the work.
Poverty in Nigeria is so evident and the federal government is not helping the matter at all. The health sector has collapsed and people that can afford medicals abroad have no choice but to travel. Likewise the food for the hungry which is so vital to both the young and old. Many eat from dumpsters and through that they contact diseases. My people’s wounds are been treated lightly. The charity organizations in Nigeria make more off these donors and neglect the dying ones.
I would like to be supported in the areas of foods and medical supplies to those in need.
I want to create a food bank in my city and people would have access to food and water. This can be achieved by working with some local farmers that can be bringing in foods, fruits and vegetables to the food bank.
And I want to make meds available to the sick by partnering with some pharmaceutical companies. I would have some medical staffs on ground that can diagnose the nature of sickness and treat the sick.
